We are not in favor of this for existing neighborhoods. Please do not destroy Gainesville any more and please stop trying to turn Gainesville into a big city. It is appalling, cruel and inconsiderate how residents have been affected by recent constructions.
I don't see how allowing smaller homes on smaller lots is making Gainesville into a "bigger city" or how that creates more construction per se. Back when Gainesville was much smaller than it is today, in the early 20th century, smaller homes on smaller with less restrictive setback standards was the norm and we weren't a big city, we were a small town. This isn't a proposal to allow more apartments, just altering the standards on which you can build a small single family home.

Okay thanks for getting back to me 😊
Hi, can you post the meeting at Curia flyer somewhere in your Substack - I’d like to attend and just need the date and time. Thank you!
The hurricane rescheduled it, I think its September 5th now, but that's not confirmed
Any updates?
